Can we call them Pocs?

I think the snowflakes who invent these offences on behalf of other people, change them every month, first of all you can't call someone black,
in case they are brown and they get upset and look to get as much money out of you as possible, because you've obviously damaged them psychologically beyond repair, then you can't call them coloured for the same reason, next week we'll have to call them something else, so please keep up.

How can a black person be a person of colour?

If I walked up to a Few black Geezers I have known Over the Years and Asked if they were a Man of Colour , My Bollix would have been inverted By a size 9

It's important to remember that 'Persons of colour lives matter'

I had some very close Friends in the Indian Embassy ,Including the First Secretary, He was not a person of Colour he was a person from India ,I have not talked to him for many a year ,I wonder if he thinks of himself as a Person of Colour ? I doubt it ? The Bloke who runs my Local Chinese is Not a Person of Colour, a nice bloke the son is built like a brick out outhouse , not many would refer to him as a POC  ,Who are these people Referring to ? where are our Colourful W@nker Luvvie mates to answer this Question ?

^^^ I agree 100% . People are labelled , then relabelled , then relabelled again . Dunno where ya stand half the time . One thing's for sure . The black people I know didn't ask to be re-categorized , they just had it thrust on 'em .
When I was growing up homosexuals were referred to as 'gay' and they didn't seem to have a problem with that but now they are referred to by the letter 'G' flanked by a few other chosen letters , no doubt with more to be added at a later date . It's all getting a little bit confusing

Are we not all "of colour"?

I mean, so called "white" people are nowhere near white, and the flesh colour, in a kid's paint palette, is certainly not white!

Neither are hearing aids, or the foam "bud", on tv presenters head sets....

If I was black, I would find the term "person of colour" offensive and yes, us honkies are far more colourful.  From blue Scotsmen in winter to red Englishmen in the midday sun and all shades in between.

So, in short, I am a person of colour!

We, pretty much, all aspire to be "people of colour", which is why we lay, and bake in the sun, given any opportunity!

Gay replaced the usual word to describe them which had been used for years.

I think gay sounds more offensive. For blokes it suggests someone who's effeminate.
I'm sure many homosexuals would take you to task if you suggested they were that.

In conversation I use the clinical term.

We had a huge argument with a Morris dancing troop from another village. Not surprising because we were poles apart.

Its official the phrase is not racist, Michelle Obama made a speech to Black Entertainment Television during the week calling for 'women of Colour' to get out and vote in the upcoming mid term elections 2018.
She didn't say who they were to vote for though.
