Does anyone collect these? Am thinking of getting replicas of my g grandfathers Boer War medals - I'm never going to be able to get the originals, but I thought it would be nice to get a replica with all the battle clasps. I can see this getting expensive though if I do it for others in my family!

I can see where you're coming from twonky, but I wouldn't be doing it for them to become worth a bit, it is purely for sentimental reasons. Unlike commemorative coins that are generic I know exactly where he was and what he was involved in during the war. Also, I was contemplating getting the miniature size which would save on cost.
