The Daily Politics was about the only good thing the BBC did with the fantastic Andrew Neil on it.
But I believe they decided it wasn't trendy and "yoof" enough, and he was a middle aged white man, so they ditched it.

I totally forgot about the new show until I read your comment and switched on and it's 5 women and one guy on the right.

Is he ghey or trans, what BBC diversity tick box does he tick?

He (They/Zie?) ran off as I finished typing, was obviously on to speak about a specific thing, and feared his mensies would synchronise. Episode 1, they've set out the tick box PC stall in no uncertain terms haven't they.

Can't wait to see the viewing figures crash.

Thoroughly enjoyable watch with good debate and no gammons shouting over one and other.

It's to the Daily Politics what Victoria Derbyshire is to proper news. Not worth watching, the first and last time for me.

I remember them walking down our street , it’s usually  a Sunday , checking on the tv licence
Looking down you could see them , 3 or 4, knocking on doors
( dressed in overcoats middle aged and had the appearance of ex army , think there was a woman once as well.
But you can tell them a mile off
From my upstairs flat I watched them all the way from the top to the bottom of the street
Knocking on doors
Don’t think anyone answered , maybe everyone was in church that Sunday morning

ps I think you have to register to log in to the bbc I player now

So I wouldn’t do that , it’s just a way to check if you have a licence

Most of their political programmes are a load of crap , that’s why i don’t watch  them

or anything else ( apart from fake or fortune ) and that’s at my mothers house on Sunday night

There is one thing that you can be happy about as well as the money , you are doing more good by not paying the bbc licence fee than those that do

I stopped paying the licence fee years ago.

The resulting correspondence was comical. They start off friendly (have you forgotten to pay, help is available etc) before progressing to various levels of intimidation (threats of visits, threats of fines, threats of court summons etc) none of which ever materialised into anything. Empty threats every single one. Then they began all over again by being friendly (inviting me to buy a licence, do you need help etc). Laughable. :)
