Every person is born on their Birthday, and when they are one year of age they celebrate their second Birthday and so fourth,When the are 7 years of age the celebrate their 8th Birthday.
So why is it that when people celebrate their Birthday the candle count on the cake is always one candle short,do they realise that they are celebrating their age and not their Birthday, because if they are celebrating their Birthday the cake is one candle short.

Unrelated but related. Say you are born on a plane at 36000ft over a county, or even the atlantic. What is put as your birthplace?

Indeed say it WAS mid atlantic, what country were you born in?

Bonus question:
If it's a Ryanair flight, do you become property of Michael O'Leary, is it in the small print? LaughWink

I think the candles represent the number of years you have been alive. Hence you are allowed to drive a car when you are 17 years old, can vote once you've been around for 18 years, etc. etc.

Doesn't matter Dan, we'll forget it anyway Laugh

Same applies to John Lennon. Shot on 8th December yet it was the 9th here. Hard for me to forget as it was my 18th birthday (or was it my 19th?)
