but they still have to find the quantum field.|

this is real heavy stuff foinavon, but some top scientist ,third respected of all living scientists today states he has proof, and quantum physics are over the moon with their breakthrough ,some rules to follow regards the announcement not to offend anybody ,but its looking good for all the believers of I AM WHO AM.

talking of fields, most on here would just be happy to regain consciousness after spending Friday night in one.

How long before they regulate it and tax us for it?

If they discover there is reincarnation I wonder will you be able to leave your money to yourself ,
if you have any |

A bit too heavy for me, Brassy. I lost consciousness after my last post and I've only recently regained it.
Although I'm fairly sure that quantum effects have something to do with my current life experience, death is a different state altogether. |

The Frankenstein stories were based on the Victorians attempt to find a scientific way of bringing someone to life after death
they experimented with frogs and were able to make their legs move with electricity And then progressed to people , criminals who had been executed In one case they applied electricity and the arm and legs moved and the dead mans eyes opened One of the surgeons was so frightened that on returning home he died of shock That’s were Mary Shelly got her idea for the book |

I don’t think we’ve progressed very much further than that despite all their mathematical formulas

It only lasts for a while. The muscle cells had not yet died and were stimulated by the electricity. Consciousness is generated in the brain and requires a copious supply of oxygenated blood. Without it, the brain cells soon die and can not then be revived.

The movies flatliners (the one starring julia roberts not the abomination last year) does a good job explaining the first few minutes of death, i reckon the brain is confused, thinks its just asleep so goes into dream mode, theres no life after death, once dead thats it imo.

sontaranStratagem - yes, it's a simple truth that some of our most evolved, grandiose minds, can't accept.
The whole purpose of our being is to reproduce. So that our genes live on. That's plenty. Why would we even need to live after death? Even if we don't reproduce directly, there are sufficient familial offspring to continue the survival of our species. The earth is roughly 4.50 billion years old. And humans as we know them, evolved maybe 7 million years ago. Why do we attach so much significance to our individual lives? We live for 80+ years if we're lucky. And in generations to come, no one will remember us. |

Totaly agree
I think people just wanna believe there is something beyond death, maybe fear of death perhaps I sometimes hope there is but i truly believe there isnt, "we live on through our kids" is the best after death anyway. We pass on a little bit of ourselves onto them. |

All the atoms in us are recycled, so as well us being made of 'star stuff' our atoms go on to become part of anything, the car you drive could be made of parts from Genghis Khan. Now there seems to be some tentative evidence of cell memory, neurons storing memories and parts of our conciousness. Maybe this is at a quantum level or something, maybe your car actually wants to invade Europe or take over the world, probably explains your aggressive driving.

It’s human to attach so much significance to our individual lives , it’s inhuman not to
That’s why |

Don't cherry pick a part of what Sontaran said Duncan, what about the rest of what he said, i totally Agree with him

I think your brain tricks itself into believing it doesn’t matter quite so much as you get older
But that’s a trick |
