Ban them imo. Teach the children to read & write and leave religion to the
churches/mosques/temples/synagogs or wherever.
The idea of telling kids you are Catholic so you go to that school & your neighbour
who is isn't goes to a different one so don't forget how different you are is insane imo.
BTW I went to school that was mixed faith & while there was what they called
RE in separate classes I don't remember religion ever being an issue. I have
one close friend from school who I didn't even realise was catholic until I went to his wedding,
It was just not a thing anyone bothered about.
My father is a Glaswegian & holy sh1t it bothers them big time and all as a result of the insane

I think they still use lead piping in Scotland which is known to have an adverse affect on logical thinking

I actually had a real problem with my son's school, just a bog-standard run of the mill school, giving religious studies.
But then, I thought, well? He had to be made aware of, forewarned, about such things.
And when he came home asking I said, " Who am I to judge? Son, what do I know? You have to do the lesson and draw your own conclusion. Personally I think it's nonsense."

In Germany, the 16 individual states all have their own education legislation because the staes control the education, not the federal government.
It's a federal republic, not a unitary state where a lot of power is concentrated.
