Yeh remind me of a Young Oliver Twist

I would prefer that to "porridge" I was offered in a hotel last year. It was sweet milky gloop rather like Ambrosia rice pudding. I asked if it could be made simply with oatmeal and water. They said I would have to order it in advance as the "chef" just made a large pot for everyone. I had bacon and eggs instead.
