Its the first time i'm hearing someone talk about the issue without telling people how bad Islam is. Finally. Only listened the first 3 minutes of that video and both of them talk about how it was the government policies that led to all this, not the text in Koran or IS or some other similar excuse.

Yes detraveller but it wouldn’t be a problem if they weren’t a problem so that’s why I blame them , and of course the government for letting them in

I think we carry on doing what we've always done.

Lock up and kick out troublemakers and criminals and let the innocent majority go about their business unbothered.

Naïve at best. Maybe able to do that once we've kicked off the shackles of the ECoHRs.

That’s all very well but it is not much help if things are becoming more and more dangerous and violent
And you are letting more and more dangerous and violent people into the country

That seems to be at the very least a lot of trouble , and of course it’s much much worse than that as well
No I don’t like the idea that we let them in and then when the atrocities  occur we lock them up , it’s a bit late then

The Sweden Democrats are the Trump/UKIP equivalent.  Fave to get most seats but won't be part of the next government.

Current government is a coalition between the Social Democrats and the Green Party (despite the Green Party only getting 6.9% of the vote)

It's the first time The Green Party has ever been involved in a coalition and judging by the mess the country is now in (considering where it was) is a warning of the consequences of far left politics.

detraveller there are loads of political parties in Sweden and none want to cosy up with the Sweden Democrats, so whereas they are faves to win the most seats that will likely  be nowhere near enough to form a government.  There are two other blocks, the left and the centre.  The left is made up of three parties and the centre is made up of four, so the likelihood is one of them will form some sort of coalition without the SW.D.

The Liberal Elite of Sweden are hellbent on self-destruction.  Their view is that every other nation has a culture to be respected above that of Sweden.

Who could have conceived, even 20 years ago, that we would be witnessing such insanity in a mature Western democracy?

A 19-year-old suspected of taking part in the massive wave of car fires that took place across Sweden earlier this week was arrested by Turkish police Wednesday, as even more fires were set overnight in various parts of the country.
The 19-year-old is believed to have been involved in the fires that occurred in Västra Frölunda, a borough of the city of Gothenburg, but it remains unclear whether or not he will be extradited to Sweden, SVT reports.

Christer Fuxborg, police spokesperson in the Western Region praised the cooperation between Swedish and Turkish law enforcement that led to the arrest but added, “it may take some time,” before the 19-year-old is sent back to Sweden.

Despite the fact that the attackers all wore masks Fuxborg said that police were able to view CCTV footage from further outside the area of the attack before the men put on their masks, leading to identifications.

The arrest comes after two other young men, aged 19 and 20, were also arrested in connection with the fires.

Nothing like the Tories/DUP.

The Green Party hold ministerial positions like the Tory/LD govt of 2010.

The Social Democrats and the Greens combined don't hold a majority so it's a lot more complicated than that.  They don't even hold a majority if you add in the Left Party.
It's a bit of a mess because the nationalist Swedish Democrats prevent either block from forming a majority and no one will cosy up with them.  All six parties have more say than the DUP.

Four years later the Swedish Democrat support has possibly doubled so it's going to be just as big a mess this time round, although from the betting it seems to be assumed that the centre parties will form the government.  Seems a bit like we let you have your turn last time so now it's our turn.
