England rugby international Danny Cipriani has been charged with common assault after an incident at a Jersey nightclub.
The Gloucester fly-half was arrested in the early hours of Wednesday on Mulcaster Street in St Helier. Police said he had been charged with common assault, larceny, assault on police, resisting arrest and being disorderly on licensed premises. The 30-year-old has been remanded in custody until a hearing on Thursday. He had been on the island with his club during a pre-season tour. Got the match ball for 5 charges in one go ! |

Yet another thick as sh it overpaid 'sportsman' can't control himself and thinks he's untouchable. With his record he deserves to go to prison and Gloucester should sack him forthwith. Rugby Union was once a game played by gentlemen;those days are regretably long gone as they have been replaced by muscle bound oafs and hooligans.

Fined 2 grand after admitting common assault and resisting arrest, also has to pay £250 compensation to a W.P.C.
