Was just about to say thanks so much WATWNIIR, but then opened link Sad

Would it help if I told you all it went like this - didi diddle diddle diddle I diddle diddle, didi diddle diddle diddle I diddle diddle, then repeats a bit.  Maybe that should be dideye rather than didi.

TIA

Any ideas?
Annoyingly it reminds me of another more modern song of which I can’t remember the name either. A more accurate description might be “a-plink plinky plinky plonk a-plink plinky plink plink” then repeat.  The plinks being higher notes, the plonks slightly lower.

It might help if you posted a catch-up link to come dine with me on more4

I would, but that would involve detective and tech skills that are beyond me.  It was on Sunday, and some bloke with silly glasses called Tor (?) who had an old Ferrari and was a ‘businessman’ was cooking scallops (?) for his starter.  Surely that must be enough, with the song description...

Harrogate Cathy McConaghy hosts the third dinner party in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, where she decides to return to her Irish roots and serve a menu of home-made soda bread, cockle soup, oysters, roast lamb, and stout-infused sticky toffee pudding as she vies for the £1,000 prize. However, not all of her guests are impressed with the choice of food being dished up?
