OP is clearly non compos mentis. Deptford is the rottenest place I've ever lived, even worse than the notorious Gurnos Estate in Merthyr Tydfil. Probably spent less than a year there and got take hostage once and robbed twice (once at knifepoint)

Singapore we caught mostly carp in the pond - grassies and mirrors.  Sold them to the local Chougie restaurant and had beers and eats included

Tapioca and chicken feed were the two main baits in freshwater.

Eat, not expecting anything extra terrestrial

Ikan Jippon sp? Japanese fish - like perch - were a pain in the Rolf but they fried up well with chilli, ginger and garlic

Other than a bit of cod I'm not a great fish eater trilby. I mainly fish for chub, Barbel and perch

When I was a kid my aunt and grandad lived in Scotland, I used to fish the wee burns for trout with worms........happy memories and only kidding the highlands are lovely.
