Think Again

Michael Morpurgo argues it's time to think again over Brexit.

"It is surely time to accept that we have made a mistake", he writes, "that whichever way we voted, things are not turning out the way we expected".

"Or are we too proud?" he asks.

They are trying everything to get another vote
Now saying we are to proud to have a second vote
So please vote again and we can all be happy(well anybody that benefits from the EU)
Which according to the first vote is most those doing well and living in London and of course
we are all lefty intellectuals that know better than you evil scumm outside of London who vote out
Personally i have no idea if we will be better in than out only that i prefer to make my own choices
and not to rely on other peoples(sometimes correct but also often wrong)
And one thing can't remember who it was that said it but "The herd can only move as fast as it's slowest member
otherwise you leave them behind".

I guess it's along these lines Trily22

The "Buffalo Theory" is an urban legend that is popularly misattributed to Cliff Clavin from Cheers and regards the effects of alcohol on the brain. Although couched in language the character of Cliff could have used, it is not from the actual show, but is presented as such, akin to as follows:

"Well you see, Norm, it's like this... A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo and when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members. In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Now, as we know, excessive drinking of alcohol kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. And that, Norm, is why you always feel smarter after a few beers."

The herd [ in this case] being the EU.
If/when we DO leave they'll be like rats on a sinking ship.
It's over for that thing.
And as for the weak..... well? I don't know.
Maybe  they just have catch up somehow.
Evolve some.
Or perish.
It's dog eat dog in the modern world and it's fkr but there it is.
