Yes indeed Twiz , I wonder if it were a white youth would they have done the same ?
|

Oh, okay.
I don't agree with this thing about punishing young offenders with treats but IF, and it's BIG if, a young offender can be brought to heel by way of a helping hand, with offender's willingness to go for it, on a course to making something of themselves. Why not? I suppose. |

so much is with the parenting and schooling
young children are like animals - they have to be trained in the mores and values of the society unfortunately these mores and values are not shared by at least three distinct groups in the uk the defence of these groups allows all the indiscretions to seep through ending up with a great deal of different values - these groups apparently getting plenty of extra protection to allow them to follow their own 'ways' we really have a mess on our hands with no politician daring to do anything VOTES VOTES VOTES |

I read a headline in a tabloid recently that went something like:
" Parents should be made to teach pre-school children basic language skills". WTF? A young mother who lived next door to me years ago said she refused to sit with her daughter and read after school. She said " that's what they go to school for. Wasn't HER job to teach." |

Bleck or white I'd favour putting the bast ards against a brick wall and using them for target practice.

you always was a softy posy
you can reform them and you can control but only if the herd has a firm strong leader it is quite honestly that simple how do you think the gangs operate? but as the natural herd leaders have abandoned them they can be taken by other strong leaders who have evil intent |

By:
You've probably hit the nail squarely on the head there moisok.
"STRONG LEADERSHIP". Gangs don't do human rights or dumbing down. |

The farmers used to pay people to kill pests.
We should adopt that for these moped riders. |

Bleck or white I'd favour putting the bast ards against a brick wall and using them for target practice. What a measured person you are. |

Plenty of ' youth ' trouble in the ' 50's with gangs of Teddy Boys and flick knives. Then in the 60's , yer Mods and Rockers plenty of gangs on motorbikes and scooters and battles on seafronts.
Difference being, a massive reduction in police numbers, police stations closed down, no police walking the streets and significant changes the way the Courts deal with offenders. |
