My grandmother use to watch it black and white on a saturday in late 50s and early 60s

A real old fashioned lady, mild mannered etc. But she couldn't leave it alone.  And she kept saying ooh how awful - look what they are doing to one another!!!  but she carried on watching it was so funny.

I turned it off after 3 seconds. The saddest thing is people paid to watch this entertainment
