He was just a happy little lad. He was so happy – he had friends everywhere. He was a polite and quiet lad.‘I used to say to him, “Don’t stay out too long because you don’t want to be getting into trouble”.https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/m

Let a young men drive high powered cars and what do you expect some of them to do?
We've all done it - well most of us anyway. With me it was motorbikes. I still cringe when I think of some of the things I did. We all laughed at my mate because his father wouldn't let him have a bike. I could see the reason when I got older.

The one thing I know is that the diverse community of Bradford will pull together as they always have. Prayer and thoughts are with the families tonight. God bless them all.
Now is not the time to ask why these boys did not stop for the police or why they were out and about at 5:30 am. Now is the time for prayer for the families of these wonderful boys taken so cruelly. So sad

You would not need many days in or around Bradford and many similar towns to know that Kenny is correct. You live in a wonderful part of the country Blackbarn. Be thankful.

Not sure anyone is suggesting they were "nice innocent young lads". Many on here are suggesting that they were far worse, but there is little evidence for anything so far, other than the lunatic speed of the vehicle.

Aka, True and I nearly added that, but it seems that the Police have limited themselves to a statement that the vehicle was being followed. Escaping the police is your term not theirs. Seems likely mind.

It's true, I live here, I see it every day. That's why the majority of people who can afford it, have moved to the outskirts of Bradford, and the inner City is probably 80% Asian, and 5% the other 30 nationalities who have occupied this once wonderful City. You haven't a clue, sat there in your ivory tower.

That car was speeding. To be followed the police car must also have been speeding. I'm sure you'll agree with that conclusion. So if they were speeding ad the police were behind them speeding then that normally would be reported as a 'chase'. It follows then that they by not slowing down were trying to escape the police. What's your problem?

Not saying there aren't some nice ones, obviously there are. But they'll be different in High Wycombe, which as I remember when I went on a course there from work 40 years ago, is an affluent area. Might have changed abit.

BRADFORDIANS turned up in their thousands to pay their respects at a funeral for four young men who lost their lives last Thursday.
Murtza Chaudhry, 21, Arbaaz Hussain, 21 Zeeshan Khalid, 20, and Tayyab Siddique, 22, who were said to be school friends, were killed in a crash that happened at about 5:30am on August 2nd.
The grey BMW they were travelling in crashed into a tree on Bingley Road, at the junction with Toller Lane and all four men died at the scene
On Saturday afternoon, people from across Bradford, the whole of the U.K., and even from abroad came together at a funeral ceremony, on a field next to Scotchman Road in commemoration of four young men.

Really just reinforces the point that Bradford has relinquished its right to be known as an English city in favour of being an extension of the Indian subcontinent.

I hope these lads don't turn out to be drug dealing criminals, or the ten thousand mourners are going to look like they support this kind of thing. Sounds like the Imam knows what's going on with the local youths.

This nonsense should be an open goal for ANY serious journalist with a scintilla of integrity or credibility, but predictably they are too terrified to ask any questions or point out the bleeding obvious.
