Mark Kermode - BBC4

My only experience of Kermode was on R5 on Friday afternoons with he and Mayo gleefuly-and boringly- trying to outwit each other for hours on end. I found it self indulgent tosh and had to cease. Is he better solo?

Never listened to that so can't really compare.

I gave up on 5, but if they are still on I wouldn't bother.

I like him but he does talk b0llax a lot of the time.

Trouble with Kermode is that he is a enthusiast when 90% of his audience just want to know if a films worth watching.

Always thought that being a film critic was an odd job as 80% of films are a waste of time and only 5% are worth paying to see.

To justify his existence a critic ends up over analysing when a simple cr@p would do.
