It's a fan with a heater, you're asked to pay 3 times it's value because it looks cool.

I have the hot and cool pure link one, I considered one for a few months due to the price, cost me £500. It literally became one of the best purchases I have made, I'd say this if you want just a cold air fan then get something cheaper, the hot air function is brilliant, it will heat a room up to your deisred temp then cut off and maintain this temp through the night,(no other heater I have had over the years keeps a room as well heated and the air as fresh as this) also the air is purified which made such a huge difference in the quality of sleep and breathing. Throw in the fact that it can be connected to WiFi, has a remote that is very handy, the fan is quiet and fairly powerful, you get a 2 year guarantee where they will come and pick it up if anything goes wrong. It's a quality product and you pay for what you get. I'd buy another. But for just a normal fan for summer look elsewhere.

cheers mega its more to heat than cool so I will take a look.
I have seen some good standing fan heaters but the added cool fan will be a bonus. Saddo that is my main concern so it will take a lot of thought. Thank you both. |

Callisto, if I remember rightly there was an option to try it out for a month and if you didn't like it you could return it, Argos maybe. Not sure if they still do this.

Anyone who pays £500 for a fan heater has got more money than sense. To quote Harry Enfield "I saw you coming"
