My iPad keeps sending duplicate emails, any suggestions how to fix this? It makes me look like an idiot...

Don't use the ipad .. but is there a different email client app you could try?

Did you install another app to access your email on the same device?
Can you confirm if the recipient is receiving the same mail twice? Or is it just showing like that on your end?

You could verify if two apps are sending in parallel by emailing to yourself then looking at the two email headers for the client.
Which might be interesting anyway.

Another obvious one might be if the server is saying the email send didnt go but it DID so the email client is retrying.

It's not the notoriously useless Yahoo is it?

Laugh crisp.

I had a spell of getting two or three copies of the same mail from my daughter's iPad within seconds. Has stopped now, I'll ask if she did owt to stop it.

No other app downloaded to read emails.

Actually, it sends only one copy but it appears twice on the “sent” folder, which is annoying but not the end of the world
