The Gambling industry uses some of the worst slogans ever. One I particularly hate at the moment is "Unexpect More". I mean, what on earth is that supposed to mean? sky vegas, I believe. A meaningless catch phrase for a worthless product, imo.

I agree with you Des but even worse than that is someone like Ray Winstone promoting that rancid outfit Bet365, "the worlds number 1 betting company." He can hardly be short of a few quid and that bunch of shysters won't take a bet if they think you know what day of the week it is!

That is not my experience of bet365 at all slippy.

yes ive found 365 to be ok

It was a con slogan, devised by both the big bookies' marketing people and the Gambling Commission, in order to pretend to be aware of the damage being done by FOBTs.
The GC don't want the machines to go away any more than the big bookies do. So this stupid slogan was developed to fool journalists and keep them at bay while the status quo could be maintained for a while.

In my experience, Bet£3.65 are not good bookies. They just want mug-punters and casino players. I had an account with them, which for no reason had all privileges (B.O.G, bonuses etc) stopped. It was barely used, I'd certainly never won anything and when I asked them why, they "didn't know" and "couldn't tell me".

I reckon we've had about 35k off them in the last year, and they still laid me a ton each way Burnt Sugar on Saturday without batting an eyelid.
Report SontaranStratagem • July 30, 2018 5:49 PM BST
Yeah I've never had any problems with Bet365 either, mainly because I was up only about 100 quid on the horses, but over 500 down on the slots before self excluding from the casino/poker

They were fine, probably not for big players though

Up 100 quid*
