Themightymac, I have always maintained that of all the bands I have seen live in my time AC/DC stands out as the one gig out of all of them that will stay with me forever and a day.

Think they covered House Of The Rising Sun, and not a bad stab at it.

Bon Scott saw Geordie performing at a small venue in the north-east and was so impressed with their lead singer , who spent the entire gig writhing around on stage , that he went back to his fellow band members of AC/DC and said that if anything ever happened to him that this fella would make a great front man .
Soon after Bon Scott tragically passed away and the remaining members of the band asked Brian Johnson to audition . They were impressed and offered him the job . When he asked why they had called him they told him about Bon Scott's recommendation . I remember that night well , Johnson told them , I was in so much agony I was rushed to hospital straight after and as a result they removed my Appendix ! |

"All Because of You" had one of the more unusual introductions for a Top 20 hit in the 70s as I recall.
