Just about everyone has some sort of mental problem if you analyse the definitions of individual mental problems.
It's all about degrees.

I don't think I know anybody who is normal.

When the attention seekers jumped on the mental illness bandwagon I was instantly cured of any potential mental ilnesses for life it's like a badge of honour now and it takes away from the REAL sufferers.

The idea that 1 in 4 is suffering from "Mental Illness" is ludicrous. We can happily forget that absurd claim.

Sadly, we can't overlook the truly disturbing one below.

More and more people are suffering from high blood pressure, high cholesterol, high blood sugar, arthritis and many more ailments; almost everything they make a tablet for is on the increase.

We need more doctors and more drugs. There's no cure for anything because they're not looking for cures, they're looking to make money out of illness.

Mental illness is merely the current nice little earner on the list that's being expanded.

In America recently, they diagnosed another load of people with high blood pressure by simply lowering the readings needed to confirm the condition.
At a stroke many more hundreds of thousands of people needed medication for hypertension.
The same as they did with cholesterol, and also here in the UK..
What they considered was the safe level of cholesterol used to be higher, but they lowered it for no apparent reason and suddenly lots more people were suffering with high cholesterol.
More money for the pharmaceutical industry.

More and more people need medication of some kind, and they're getting younger.

Also what as a bank got to do with mentle illness? shouldn't they be facing some inquiry? like your job is to look after (LaughCrazy) our money? not tell us all we are mentally stuffed

So basically they are telling us 1 in 4 is mentally ill, whilst at the same time trying to get us to take out loans?

Someone I knew years ago had a child with behaviour problems.
The doctor put him on tablets but of course they had no effect.

This person I knew decided to lay into the kid with a stick every time he played up or got sent home from school. They could in those days.

It had the desired effect.

The doctor took the credit for the kid's improved behaviour and they all lived happily ever after.

Well exactly

Funny how mentle illness is making them a s*** load of money, and if by magic its now 1 in 4 of us who suffer from it

Global Warming as morphed into climate change, and they are now calling a heat wave in Japan a "natural disaster", that big ball of fire in the sky is now a natural disaster is it? well only to a point you see, because as we know they need to save a little of that "climate change"

Having it both ways and eating the sodding cake to boot

Its absolutely bonkers it really is

They are looking for cures.  The sugar tax for one.

I'm on Allopurinol for life and thank fook I'm on it.  Never had gout since.  Beats suffering excruciating pain because some idiot doesn't think medication is good for you.

I'm also with STUDYFORM.  Nearly everyone has it.  Far more than 1 in 4 blokes don't go to the doctors because of anxiety imho.

Being less dismissive about mental illness and expressing how common it actually is helps those with problems to ask for help.  The sooner they get help the better.

Anxiety is normal, some people just aren't comfortable in social situations, more comfortable on their own, its perfectly normal

Its an individual thing imo, some people like being in big crowds and are more comfortable in social situations than others

They say sports stars get "anxious" in certain situations in a match? do they need drugs as well?

Mental illness is real thats for sure , conditions like Schizophrenia , Manic Depression and Serious Depressions are only too real, have a look inside a Psychiatric Unit if you dont think it exists

Chemical imbalance caused through the administration of drugs, anxious

Everyone feels "low" sometimes, for every high the body needs to compensate and create a low.

"for every high there's a low"

These people in psychiatric wards were probably semi normal until they were given all kinds of rubbish (drugs)

It's the gout that gives you pain CLYDBANK29, not someone's opinion that medication is bad for you. Which it is by the way.

No one in their right mind would suffer chronic gout instead of taking Allopurinol, or by not making the necessary dietary changes.

But society will happily be told they are mentally ill, its a victim mentality society we live in, and society loves big government to wrap them up in bubble wrap, its an easy life innit.

The media don't help in todays world, all you hear about is death, death, death, more death, war, war, etc etc

The media are contributing to the high level of paranoia, yet they will sell you stories of mentle illness Crazy

The media are constantly telling people there's an enemy, they are going to destroy us all

I know its bull****, but the majority on there prescription drugs, which increases paranoia by the way, will believe it
