Moisok - I thank Allah that I was able to look after my elderly parents before they passed. They were thus spared the nightmare of a Labour Local Authority Pretendy Carer, probably from Somalia. I thought they deserved better than that. I may not be so fortunate, but there's always Switzerland I guess.

People in the media scared to speak out because they'd get demonised and lose their jobs.
People in politics have nearly all been gagged. If they even speak on the subject and say the wrong thing they face action from their own party and condemnation in the media. People working for councils afraid of their jobs if they start pointing their fingers. They've really got the councils stitched up. Game over, we've given the country away and not one blow was struck. All they had to do was to appeal to our better natures and we fell for it hook line and sinker. What a set of suckers. |

I got robbed in Paris!
10 Euros for a beer at Stade Francais! Luckily enough I had spent the previous few hours being robbed by Irishmen 3 stops away on the metro at 6 Euros a pint! To be fair I got what I paid for. I could not understand why England were losing to France! To cap it all off I went for an Indian in Paris at 18 Euros for a plate of something, nice crockery though! |

I had the romanian girl who "finds a valuable ring in the street" in front of me con trick attempt in Paris, don't fall for that one :)
I've also had them try to pick pocket me, same holiday I think. Caught the slimey b*stard, it was a classic diversion thing, guy in front of me trying to attract my attention while his mate went for wallet in back pocket. I now keep my wallet front pocket anyway, never had a pickpocket attempt since. My python protects it :) |

Yes Barcelona is worse than paris or was in my experience. I think everyone I know has a fraud/pickpocket story from a visit there, including myself :(

apart from sending youngsters in to stores to lift
there has been a spate of 20 pound notes being passed in the village when it doesn't work they threaten the staff publican etc etc 'going to come back and smash the place up' that was this weekend in several places plods response - not to come out and catch them but get some more cctv cameras how about protecting the public from these thugs ANSWER they are too scared to - they won't touch them until someone has been beaten up or places smashed up I do believe this will slip further and further in to anarchy in some places where people no longer follow the law and customs of england |
