What happened to that fine,upstanding member of parliament who had a penchant for rent boys and cocaine although not necessarily in that order or at the same time...Keith Vaz...didn't he get struck down by a mystery illness which caused an investigation into his activities being abandoned. Why wasn't he forced to resign;surely Corbyn doesn't stand for such behaviour;or does he.

By mistake. Cameron only called the referendum because he thought Remain was a dead cert.
Then he vamoosed (to where?) and Theresa May triggered Article 50 which meant we have a deadline for Brexit but no plan: Canada, Norway, Switzerland, CETA, EEA, WTO, the customs union, *a* customs union: who knows? Now we are on plan 73a and the backbenchers are split, the cabinet is split and the EU might reject it anyway. Brexit by mistake. |
