Sopranos and Breaking Bad are great - if you can handle subtitles the original Danish version of the Killing is very good

The Wire, Breaking Bad and im with FatherM The Killing (1-2-3) are very good.

Both The Bridge (Danish/Swedish) and The Tunnel (English/French) are worth a watch. As are most Scandi TV dramas tbh.

Yes, Prepared, it is. I was hooked from the first episode. I was almost glad when it was finished so I could get my life back!

Then I started Breaking Bad and my life was on hold again

Lost is a good show personally, it seems to be a marmite type show though, you'll either binge watch or find it to slow paced (my brother said he couldn't stick with it because it was to slow going), it does take a while to get going in regards to the deserted island they are on

Prime Suspect would have been great if they could have produced more of the Marlow episodes

And aye the end was pretty lame after all those years tbh, I understand the theory behind it, letting go was the theme of the show and they couldn't do it, but it was a bit of a cop out ending, starts of waking up, ends with going to sleep is a cheesey.

I enjoyed a one season wonder called Rubicon but you'll have real trouble finding it anywhere. I want to buy the dvd but they won't release it, they seem to want it to remain buried.

Our Friends in the North is one of the best British made series

Westworld or Fortitude are my personal faves.  Also liked The Village

For mini series, Big Little Lies was class

Breaking Bad is outstanding. And each episode and each series ,just kept getting better and better. You'd watch one episode finish and find your mouth wide open saying WTF  !!! And you'd say to yourself, where do they go from here ? They won't be able to ' top ' that. But they do, again and again !!!

The Five, written by Harlan Coben is beautifully atmospheric, stunningly filmed and outrageously gripping. It's a mini-series of 10 and one of the finest things I've ever had the pleasure to watch.

just thought of of a couple- very similar tbh - gomorrah( neapolitan crime )  and fugitives ( chilean crime ) . seen all of the former, brilliant, fugitives have seen 1st series but not 2nd. both subtitles, both enthralling. great tv.

anyone watched ozark ? heard its good, might be on me list after got.

I have not heard about it at all, but the early Harlen Coben books are among my favorites.

My pleasure. I'm not sure The Five was in fact ever published as a book, moreover it is a screenplay written by Coben exclusively for TV which is unusual in itself. No matter, it is brilliant.
