I know most will choose the Godfather films, but I really like the Men in Black trilogy.

Of modern day films then none of them and I'd agree with Reynard and say Laurel & Hardy, first reserve Abbott & Costello.

Flash Gordon 1936/8/9

Wonderful serial

Priscilla Lawson as Princess Aura is the hottest woman I've ever seen.

Nowt wrong with your memory Kenny.

I know we don't do highbrow on here,  but Kieslowski's 1990's Three Colour's Trilogy certainly qualifies.

I didn't see parts 1 and 2 but 3 was reasonably watchable

Laugh Nice one Escapee!

Reminds me of Peter Serafinowicz on QI, when he said he didn't watch American History X because he still hasn't watched the first nine! Laugh

Ocean's was rubbish, in fact its hard to believe the first ten in the series were total pants, the fact they even made an eleventh is a miracle.

Not sure about the godfather "trilogy" being that great as though the first two films were amazing the third was dreadful.

the first matrix film was incredible the next two were dodos.

the terminator 1 and 2 great the third one not so much. aliens first two films excellent third not so much. (sure you're detecting a theme here.)

the only film series that are flawless are the friday the thirteenth ones Wink

As an alternative vibe to the norm, the "sqatsi" trilogy is worth a mention. The first one in particular was mesmerising (though I know Philip Glass music can drive some people up the wall!)

I didn't see any of the first nine, but - given that the quality inevitably drops off - the Malcolm series must've been really good.

I liked The French Connection and The French Connection II was just as good. Shame there wasn't a third one. So those films will just have to go into the "Best 2-Film Series" list, and I think they'd be top of the pile for me. Hackman's performance was awesome in the sequel. Ahh, the seventies. They don't make 'em like that anymore.
