Its much easier to be a left wing comic. Jokes against the establishment and being down with the yoof always plays well. Shows you care. In the meantime their accountants are setting them up as Limited Companies to minimise tax liabilities and investing in off shore schemes and always travelling first class. Don't mind entertaining the great unwashed but don't want to actually meet any of them.

I used to watch a lot of TV comedy and a lot of it is a turn off now as there is an undercurrent of left wing smugness about it all that I'm sure didn't exist before.
The ever present "jokes" that Brexit is a disaster and only stupid racist people wanted it, as they all smugly laugh and nod at each other..

I would rather cut my testicules off, stick daggers in my eyes and roast on a spit than watch this scum. Typical leftie hypocrite, made jokes about the disabled. To call him a nasty piece of work is to insult all nasty pieces of work that ever existed!

I had it on because I like his type of humour.

I love it when people who easily take offence watch comedians like Boyle and Jimmy Carr, already knowing what they are like and how they like to push the limits. It's as if they revel in taking offence, and can't wait to get stuck in when something controversial comes up
