I can however report that both Sweden and Germany's fans at the event look exactly like they always have.
No sign yet of any of the millions of cultural enrichers in the stands wearing Sweden/Germany replica shirts. Clearly the transfomation to supporting the football team of the country that gave you refuge is taking a little time. There's a surprise. |

Saw a maybe 3 year old arabian boy waving a tiny German flag, singing "allemagne, allemagne" enthusiastically at the station on Thursday. It was super adorable.
