I think we'd all agree that Sweden's crime-fighting organisations should use all available profiling techniques, along with crime trends data, to get on top of the carnage that now routinely occurs in Malmo. Prioritise targeting those who fit the profiles.
I was lucky enough to spend time in Malmo in 2007, and found it a very pleasant, completely relaxed city. What has transformed it so quickly into a crime blackspot that shames Sweden? A development completely inconceivable at the turn of the millennium. |
