Every forecast I can see is for a continuation of the current very settled and dry weather in all places except the outer Hebrides in which all BBC weather folk feel the need to tell us.
This summer could be another 1976 with parched cricket grounds and racecourses (hard ground at Bath racecourse)
I predict standpipes on every street and the army supplying us with green goddesses as drought measures take centre stage.

I don't know which is the most amazing; how wrong these forecasts have been in the past or how readily people believe them.
Just read today that we are in for a weekend of thunders and showers ?
It's the immigrants fault. I there weren't so many people in the country breathing precious air, the thermals would not be so messed up and there would not be such extreme weather conditions! I hope this clarifies the matter!

A disgraceful slur slicer,I only get concerned with the thermals when the cold weather approaches !
I don't worry about thermals in the cold- because like my betting, I use layers!

I haven't seen a drop of rain for ages here in South East London and according to the BBC website at least 2 weeks of dry and very warm weather to come hitting 27C to 29C on a regular basis which is similar to Southern Spain where I'm going to on Tuesday for 10 days! I'll have the sea and the breeze to keep me cool there though 
Still no sign of any change to the unrelenting drought which could easily rival the summer of 1976.
So scarce is water here that I am having to water the lawn and plants with weedol and resolva.
Forecast for next 2 weeks is high 20s
