Solution; buy something useful that needs only one battery; a nose hair trimmer for example. Problem solved (unless it uses an AA)

Strange product you are talking about, 3xAAAs? Is that your travel vibrator? Wink

For me it's either 1, 2 (VERY common e.g. virtually all remotes, mice, small torch), 4 for other things.

I think that's Amp-le evidence that you are wrong. Resistance is futile, I hope you have the capacitance to understand your mistake.
