The one justification I can see (and I might be stretching to defend him a bit) is that the knighthood helps in the fund-raising for his wife's charity, so it's simple expediency and he's simply using the system for the greater good.
I hope so at least. Let's hope he doesn't go the way of other Scottish football managers and insist on being called Sir Kenny from now on. |
