Things are really started to change quickly now and one wonders what the UK will be like in fifteen years. I really do not see the point in this program. The only reason is to stir up emotions thus increasing viewing figures and advertising revenue.

From what I've read that pathetic snowflake Guardian writer isn't just a contributor, the program is made by her, so I'm guessing it'll be even worse and more insultingly ignorant, biased and "Channel 4/Guardian"-y than originally forecast. The full facts are there, and with guardian style bias, she's ignoring them.

He actually said that rather than killing them with guns and shells, why not use what was basically that periods equivalent of tear gas on them.
It wasn't fatal, he was arguing to avoid fatalities. She of course didn't repeat that.

Watched this programme thought it was quite silly and patronising.

I watched it, I would think its up to the British to decide who are the heroes.

Watched it today, yes as a country and therefore some of its hero's have done some pretty grim stuff. You don't acquire an Empire by being nice. As with this programme and other people of the left wing persuasion, no one and I mean no one when banging on slavery is giving credit to the decent white people of the day who abolished slavery. And while I'm having mild rant as an immigrant myself I find it best not to tell the people of the country which you have CHOSEN to live in where their going wrong !

She could always go back to her native Norway and have a go about Viking atrocities committed here

Oh dear. The programme makers didn't like it when one contributor wanted to air a few inconvenient truths about some non-white 'heroes'. Such facts had to be censored from the programme.

Anybody else remember "Right to reply" with Gus McDonald.
He invited journalists and members of the public to debate content with programme makers.
Although Gus worked for Channel 4, he was always fair and unbiased in his questioning and wouldn't hold back on making the
programme makers answer difficult questions.
He would make this woman look very silly.

It's very sad that this once highly regarded, ground breaking Channel, has fallen so low.
