Seen his pic, looks more like a young Arthur Daley.

Probably worth taking this in, ahead of the drama.   Chris Langham does the voice over and Cyril Smith appears with comments in defence.  You couldnt make it up, with hindsight.  Good documentary though, and will certainly cover stuff that won't be in the drama.   Drama looks very promising mind, and the pre reviews are excellent.

I thought it was good casemoney, after 10 minutes or so I wasn't sure but I stuck with it and it was watchable.

Thought Grant played the Part Very well, infact both main Characters .... Very fast Moving considering there are 3 Episodes

What is frightening is that He could be the Leader of a Major Party ,lord only knows What Skeletons some our Current mob have hidden in their wardrobes .

Agreed, both played their parts well and Grant in particular was very plausible in his role as Thorpe.

Very fine, I thought.    and a plausible portrayal of what on the face of it seemed implausible.

Was at my parents wedding..

Hugh getting married for the first time ,has 5 children from previous , bit strange to decide to tie the knot now.

i thought it was quite good, cant really get away with hugh grant as jeremy thorpe
but thought he did a good job of it.

odd to see a bloke fighting the press for his privacy, playing a bloke who had little
difficulty keeping stuff private for so long

how things have changed!

i thought the norman scott actor was great

@donny osmond - if I'm not mistaken, it's the same actor who played 'Q' in the James Bond movie 'Skyfall'.
