probably a fair shout that. 1st or 2nd probably not gonna make a lot of difference in england's group and being one of the last teams to play means a more congested schedule means playing sun, thurs, mon/tues and sat if they get to the last 8

2014 World Cup: England used 15 players in the first 2 games, and another 5 in the meaningless 3rd match.
2010 : England used 20 players in the group stage. |

I'd expect three subs to be used in the first match, so that's 14 straight away.
I can't imagine Pope getting a game, nor hopefully Welbeck. I don't envisage us playing many games, but I'll go for 20. |
