Is there a particular day of the month when employers pay their staff? If not a particular date, does it tend to happen at the beginning, middle or end of a calendar month? Or can it vary from company to company?

23rd of each month, earlier if the 23rd is on a weekend.

When I was an employee I was paid weekly, every Friday. I know that monthly payment is the standard but I've never had it like that.
Job 1 after the 1st of every month
Job 2 The last Wednesday of the month
Job 3 Every Thursday
Job 2 The last Wednesday of the month
Job 3 Every Thursday

On a drawdown pension now and have elected the 15th of every month so you can write me off that 'worker' list (for now)
