POC (her term not mine) are very strong. The chips they shoulder would make us whiteys collapse under the weight.

Wtf. In my experience they have a crap shampoo and if I remember right no conditioner.
I've seen crap body wash combined with shampoo as well. Being metrosexual with fabulous hair I normally have my own but it's not "racist". "Microaggression" .. .anyone who says that should be immediately punched hard in the face. |

To be fair she does have a point but what's the solution? There'd be a huge outcry if hotels started demanding to know what race you are. I suppose you could imagine that online booking could include a page for choosing toiletries from a menu.

I had never heard of her before, I have now.
Has the penny dropped yet? Great Publicity stunt. One that's almost as old as time itself, cause controversy to get yourself noticed. Now go and buy her records ![]() |
|
By:
no it's not - she is a wonderful singer and songwriter turned political commentator and MUST be listened to
SCANDA your disgraceful racist attitude has been noted ![]() |

Who was that plain Jane pop singer who went out to the Middle East to be photographed crying over refugee children.?
She got her money's worth of publicity out of it. |
|
By:
publicity was obviously that beneficial that you forgot who she was.
and Halsey had a No.1 in a bunch of countries (UK, US, parts of Europe) a few years ago and is in the middle of a worldwide tour. not a superstar by any means but a somebody in modern music if you are pay attention to it. |

Hotels will simply stop supplying shampoo if only white people can use it. Is that what they want?
Is their such a thing as 'black person shampoo' If so they could provide both kinds to give people the choice. I don't know about these things, I only know the black kid in my class had 'waterproof' hair when we had swimming lessons. I.e. it never looked wet. Don't remember what kind of shampoo he used though. |

Nah it is just someone using a balanced argument with a chip on both shoulders while black lives matter is in the ascendancy and honkeys are on the back foot apologising for existing

lol I had never heard of her before so I could never have forgotten in the first place? and i'm one of the least racist people here as many will say but let's be real here it's silly stories like this that trivialise real racism, can only conclude it's a publicity stunt, as for being number 1, when was the last time being number 1 was relevant in this day and age, you'd have to be a teenager to even take an interested in chart positions, last time that was of interest to the masses was probably 20 years ago when top of the pops was all the rage, that died on its arse some time ago, and anyone can be number 1 in 2018, you can sell a measly number of copies to achieve it, lots of people get there by streaming numbers anyway.
musicians need publicity to survive and then thrive, social media is the number 1 tool. |
