Suppose we make some fantastic technological breakthroughs in the next couple of years and manage to start a huge colony on Mars within a not too distant future. A few million people from all over the world move there including you. It's decided that the leader of Mars needs experience from Earth. Out of the following ten candidates, who would you prefer got the job as President / Prime Minister of Mars?

Justin Trudeau of Canada
Emmanuel Macron of France
Angela Merkel of Germany
Paolo Gentiloni of Italy
Shinzo Abe of Japan
Theresa May of the UK
Donald Trump of the USA
Donald Tusk of the EU (Polish)
Vladimir Putin of Russia
Xi Jinping of China

Tough / horrible choice, but I think my vote might go to Donald Tusk. If I knew more about the candidates i might rank them differently, but right now I would rank them in the following order from best to worst.

1) Donald Tusk
2) Shinzo Abe
3) Emmanuel Macron
4) Angela Merkel
5) Paolo Gentiloni
6) Justin Trudeau
7) Theresa May
8) Donald Trump
9) Xi Jinping
10) Vladimir Putin

Report lfc1971 April 25, 2018 1:47 PM BST

You get the feeling that it might be hard to ever get rid of Putin or JinPing if they did a bad job Happy The candidates are the current leaders of the G7-members plus Russia who used to be in the G8, plus China just because.

Report lfc1971 April 25, 2018 1:50 PM BST

Report lfc1971 April 25, 2018 1:53 PM BST
so you might as well have asked the question
What leader would you prefer on earth
Report terry mccann April 25, 2018 1:54 PM BST
Why Tony Blair of course IFC
Report terry mccann April 25, 2018 1:55 PM BST

Report lfc1971 April 25, 2018 1:59 PM BST
what must be done first and foremost is people get to decide on how they want to live
and then seperate
Report lfc1971 April 25, 2018 2:00 PM BST
and then of course they can choice a leader if they wish, if they are stupid enough to elect Putin ok

Love how your first post dismisses the whole premise but you then deliver about 75% of subsequent posts and are the only person to attempt to answer the OP's question!
