Amazing to see she knew him immediately.  Very moving.

When I came back from two years in Africa in 1979 the mother's Yorkshire Terrier went mad with excitement when I came in the door.
Year earlier when she was a few months old I was studying for weeks in the parents house.
It was the time of the Arab oil crisis and electricity was cut off.
In the morning the pup would scratch the door of the room where I was studying.
I put her on my lap and covered her with a woolen jumper to keep her warm..
When having a tea break I would carry her in my arms and feed her dunked biscuit.

In a few weeks I am moving house and will get one or two rescue dogs, my first ever.

Plodding on, thanks TMM.Hope the Captain is well, or as well as can be expected. Sadly my sister's marathon (74 year) marriage came to an end 6 months ago, but she's doing ok.

Sorry to hear about your brother-in-law Kenny. 74 years married is a magnificent achievement. Your sister must miss him so much. Best wishes to her mate.

Capt is as well as can be expected and still plodding on. Needs 24/7 care which we give but brain still sharp as a tack and still bets every day, lol.

Capt holds you in the highest regard and admires your continued work on behalf of animal welfare and sends you best wishes. Cheers mate.

Mac The Chaser got himself banned X 3.
Twice as TC with the 2nd one for life then again under a different name.
Strange. Never posted anything that would get you banned.

That`s a shock aka. Chaser was a good laugh and definitely not controversial in any way. What did he say that deserved a ban?

What happened to G2D, has he been banned too?

And where has Trilby gone?
