Maybe not the Queen, but the richest, I think it's now about 80 people in the world, have as much as the poorest 1/2 of the planet - that's 3,500,000,000 people, put together. They could wipe out the worst poverty and still keep a few hundred million each to still be fabulously wealthy.

Of course in practice it couldnt happen without collapsing stock markets, property markets etc as only a minute percentage of this wealth would be held in cash. Thats before you start thinking of the implications on further business investment and job levels etc.

All the countries in the world owe money and are in debt of billions,what would happen if every country just woke up tomorrow morning and decided to renege on their national debt,then all the countries in would not have to pay interest on it either and everyone could start again with a clean slate ,and nobody would would owe anything to anybody. i wonder what would happen,who would suffer,even the banks of the world owe money ,so i say pull the plug on all debt ,and we all can start again tomorrow.
