All they achieved was to keep Labour out of office and ensure the Tories got elected.
Which shows why it's so difficult to start an effective political party in this country. UKIP almost did it, but the same old problem reared its head with voters afraid to abandon their traditional choice of party for fear of letting the other side in. |
