Are they more common when the pollen picks up? plus the sudden drier heat we've got as well

Suffered from them at this time of year for years

It's worth remembering that there's plenty of horsey people blame pollen/air pollution for horses bursting blood vessels and UK athletics/cycling use similar excuses for exercise induced asthma for their TUE use (rightly or wrongly) so would be no surprise to find it a direct cause in some people.

No it only lasts a couple of minutes and its just a bit of blood (blood tends to spread and looks worse than it is), and same, theyll have me on blood pressure tablets, anti depressents and god knows what else Crazy they do more harm than good long term.

Never had any problem with nosebleeds until 3 years ago when started to have a few very heavy nosebleeds lasting about 10 - 12 mins. Went to doctor and was sent to hospital, had a small little op to cauterize the inside of the nose - this seals the blood vessel. In-and-out of hospital the same day.

I do suffer from hayfever and can have fits of sneezing when 15 sneezes or more in a row is not unheard of but I never get a nosebleed.
