Seems our state mouth pieces (BBC and SKY) are more interested in events that effect absolutely no one

The bombings were illegal, unlawful and undemocratic but don't ask about them, here's a celebrity drink driving story

The prime minister doesn't have a majority and so can't actually get things passed, but don't ask about it, here's a coffee cup in the sea.

Or how about accusing another super power of staging a chemical attack on our shores with zero proof, but don't ask about that, here's a royal wedding.

Amazing how quickly people just forget what's going off

Russia want to gather a coalition to bomb Saudi Arabia for using chemical weapons in Yemen.

The media completely over-egged it in the first place. A few missiles at sites that could be used for chemical weapons production...the whole thing last about an hour. They acted like it was all out war.

Whats the difference btw between illegal and unlawful?

Illegal and unlawful have slightly different meanings, although they are often used interchangeably. Something that is illegal is against the law, whereas an unlawful act merely contravenes the rules that apply in a particular context.

One is a sick bird, the other is against the law.

The use of chemical weapons has been illegal for 93 years.

Very good opening post. Applies to many topics. First rule of media - distraction.

60  people shot and stabbed to death in London and we're told how awful it is for sodomy to be illegal in Nigeria.

It all seems rather silent.

the Russian say the inspectors found no evidence of a chemical attack, but you expect them to say that of course

We all know it was a staged event managed by the white helmets, it would be nice to see what results of the inspection they come up with.
