I just asked my phone the same question.
It's a built-in feature, btw, not something I'd ever waste money on.

The answer given was:

"A Chemtrail is a visible trail left in the sky by an aircraft and believed by some to consist of chemical or biological agents released as a covert operation, rather than the condensed water of a vapour trail"

It's another load of crap which has been made up and spread by some trolls to feed the conspiracy nuts.

A truly symbiotic relationship.

In other words, imo, move along please, nothing to see here

No, it isn't.

Some planes in the sky leave trails that persist and spread, and other planes, in the same sky, leave short-lived trails, or no trails at all.

These trails are actually called contrails, short for “condensation trails”. They are not smoke from the engines, they are formed when the water in jet exhaust (and there’s quite a lot of it, like car exhaust on a cold day) mixes with wet cold air, and condenses and freezes into ice crystals. Contrails are actually a type of cirrus cloud. When the air is wet and cold enough the trails can stay around for a long time, and sometimes spread out.

This difference between trails that fade away, and trails that spread, is often used as evidence of the “chemtrail” theory, which states that the longer lasting trails (or some of them) are being deliberately manipulated for some reason.

The reason for this latest, ridiculous conspiracy theory is that the name "Chemtrail" is being used instead of the proper term "Contrail".

It's another one for the gullible, susceptible people who can't stand the fact they don't have any use for a computer.

The conspiracy followers are, in my experience, the same ones who claim "fake news" whenever something they don't agree with is said.
Yet, they can't spot "fake stuff" like this.

So shouldn't people leave a trail behind them when they go walking in the cold if the water from their breath freezes?

I can't see what I wrote that's silly and I'm not getting into a ridiculous debate with you about another stupid conspiracy theory.

You can see your breath on a cold day. If you were pumping breath out through 2 or 4 engines on the back of your head and walking at 600mph on a very cold humid day, you'd leave a trail.

Now I'm going to sleep before I get suckered in to more silliness.

The alexa thing and the conspiracy thing is brought on by calling CONtrails, CHEMtrails. Which is about it.

There are 31875 5G antennas on lamp posts (FACT) which they have been turning on intermittently for months (FACT) people have experienced unexperienced illnesses in that time including a brand new cancer in 2 children (FACT) They say you can buy the antenna at B & Q (FICTION) they say it has the strenght of a keyfob (FICTION) They say thw WHO say it's safe (FICTION) they have it as a class 2b carcinogen and other studies have it as a class 1 carcinogen (FACT)
Council/Government say it's a conspiracy theory and people who don't know or do research say it's a conspiracy and someone like me who has done research and is only dealing in truth is a conspiracy theorist,when in the 5G case the evidence is overwhelming.
