100% support for him, while this country and other countries throughout the world have not covered themselves with glory regarding homosexuality it is amazing that in this day and age there are still laws against it with one of the Commonwealth countries still punishing it with beheadings I suppose things will really move when we have openly gay footballers, given the numbers there must be some and if so why should they hide how they choose to live their lives.

While Tom is on the equality campaign trail he might want to ask the BBC to add the name of his synchro partner to the Tom Daley wins gold headline yesterday.

Indeed case. This trying to normalise two blokes having babies will take a long time to catch on, and for many it never will.

I saw the full clip of him speaking out about homosexuality and I thought it was very good and he is a good role model for gays, articulate, not camp, and passionate about it.  He has had to do his growing up knowing he was gay and in the full glare of the media.

Try to get your head around that being truly gay is about having a female mind in a male body and visa versa, probably due our toxic world.  I have seen the most beautiful men in a gay pub who could get any woman they wanted but end up with an ordinary man. I think the sex bit is what puts heterosexual men off gays, but imagine yourself in their position.

When I first came on chit chat I was gobsmacked by the numerous references to the sex with woman that is the same as the sex that gay men have, but apparently it is okay for chit chatters to do this with women but not for a man to do it with another man

BTW, why is it you think the gay guys are so attractive to women ?   I've always assumed its because they're considered harmless (no threat) but maybe there's more to it.

I have never been attracted to a truly gay man, they are too feminine for me, but I was  physically attracted to a gorgeous guy who chatted me up in a gay pub but I didn't take it any further.

I think some women like being with them because the truly gay men are just like girls, so it is like having another girlfriend for them.  My girlfriend had a gay man as her best friend but I didn't like him much.
