Shouldn't it be directly at Assad or his palaces as opposed to meaningless strikes on airbases that have already moved their planes.

If their were honest about their motives then they would send in a squad to eliminate Assad, sadly the reason is much more sinister than that.

What did Assad do? Not saying he is innocent but we have a dangerous tendency of calling media liars when they cover local news(because we can see they are lying) but any news from other countries is taken to be the absolute truth.
