I was in a club in Manchester a few years ago. I wasn´t drunk or high and proceeded to go downstairs to the dancefloor. A few stairs down, I slipped and fell all the way down to the bottom.

Luckily I didn´t break anything and was just bruised quite heavily. I didn´t feel like partying much after that and vowed never to go out on Fri 13th ever again unless necessary. SadLaugh

1980, 17 years old, recently passed driving test, crashed my Mums Honda Civic. Ended going backwards through some blokes garden fence. He still hasn't fixed the fence. I cringe every time I drive past it. Obviously the date was to blame, and not my skillful driving.

Went out with the lads for a few beers and the first one dropped off usually provided a coffee for the rest; this night, circa 1980, it was my turn.

P*ssed as a fart, I proceeded to show off with our German Shepherd, a big bastid, who used to jump up and rest his legs on my shoulders. Sometimes I would cup him under his tail and pick him up and until that night it was never a problem.

Be it the smell of the beer, or maybe I had picked him up awkwardly, he didn't like it and began to growl. In no time at all he started snapping and so I turned my face away (thankfully) but still lost half my ear as I put him back down again. Suffice to say I didn't try that trick again.

Yes, it was Friday 13th!

We see so many Friday 13ths and most of them go without incident, although I did have another bad one when I was sacked on the spot. Fronting the director because you don't agree with his call was not a good idea. Don't regret it though, he was being a complete d!ck and his call affected me quite badly.
