apprenticeships are of low quality who,d have flunked it,cameron,gideon and co conning people into think 6  to 12 weeks shelf stacking in Tesco,poundland is an apprenticeship, apprenticeship is a word used to describie someone learning a trade over 4,5 years with 3 months a year at nightschool,college etc,firms been getting grants ,tax breaks etc to provide shelf stackers

Also means the employer can pay £3.70 p/h.  This applies for under-19s or over-19s in their first year of the "apprenticeship".  Tell the kids at the end there are no vacancies but "We'll keep your file on record" and the over-19s can simply be released after 1 year.

I remember Cameron talking about apprenticeships...whilst standing in a coffee house!

apprentice is someone learning a trade,anything else is a trainee operative,dogsbody on minimum wage,serving ,making coffee is no more a trade than a burger flipper, not that theres anything wrong in working in the service sector and making your way up the ladder in that business if that's your bag
