I heard today on the BBC Breakfast programme that after a year they assume 'you' receive a minimum wage from the endeavour.
Im guessing that the 'minimum wage' doesnt get subsidised with any benefit, otherwise it wouldnt be minimum it would be 'less than minimum' wouldnt it?

Why then dont they just say, you can have UC self employment help for a year then its all over you are on your own?

Unless the rules have changed this April Foyles then you are entitled to some help, although that is dependent on what you actually earn in that timeframe and other contributors to the home

If you choose to only work 2-3 hours a day you wont' get any help.

If you have a spare room you can rent it out for up to £7,500pa, tax-free and you don't even have to declare it unless it goes over the limit (£7.5k).

Cash in hand and universal credit go together like fish and chips.

I knew a builder married with kids who claimed everything that was going.
I saw him once with his team replacing all the windows in a house.

As far as I know they never caught him.
Report Aspro April 12, 2018 10:28 PM BST
The reason they never caught him Dr C is because thousands are doing the same and they simply cannot keep an eye on everyone so they don't bother at all.
