if you left it on high for the full night and forgot to turn it off ,would you cook yourself, and end up like a roasted chicken in the morning.?some experts think so.Shocked
And what about a guy who die's in his sleep with the blanket on high ,he is likely to end up like a burned roast  chicken.
The electric blanket never switches itself off ,like an electric kettle.SO guys you could roast yourself to death after a few pints if you are a heavy drinker and a heavy sleeper.
so be careful when out drinking.GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

My geat uncle was in his 90s and bedbound. He came on with a fever which went on for days, despite two visits a day from his GP and medication. Someone had turned his electric blanket on and it went unnoticed for nearly a week.

This exact thing happened to my wife's uncle, completely roasted. The whole family ate him over the Christmas holidays, it's what he would have wanted.

Waste not want not Torque.
I wear my tin-foil hat in bed so afraid to use an electric blanket in case I overheat.
