The immigration to the UK hasn't only just begun.
I grew up in east London, there were immigrants in whole communities, as they are now. The same applied 100 years ago.

The obsession with immigration seen all over this forum (and coincidentally all over the Daily Mail) is blinding people to all OTHER problems.

There seem to be more now though. I don't think immigrant numbers have increased this year, but police numbers have definitely DEcreased.

The gang stuff and "black on black" stuff mentioned earlier would have little to do with immigration would it?
Given that many gang members are 3rd or 4th generation - only going back in time could stop the perceived problem.

Anyone with an IQ over 70 knows this is a male black problem. Unless the police are either let off the leash and given the go ahead to shoot to kill or everyone 'suspected' of being a gang member is deported the issue will remain with us.If Enoch were still around he'd 'seem to see the River Thames foaming with much blood'.

People will always blame the things they are programmed to blame. Remember the refugee crisis? Everyone was busy bashing the refugees and no one bothered about why the govts were inviting them(which they were). Nobody learnt from that episode and its unlikely people will learn it anytime soon. Politicians will keep milking you.

If you've got zero officers on the beat to start with, how can talk of reducing their numbers make any difference?

People are SO susceptible to programming.

Built into the programming is a way to deal with dissenters as well.
They aren't in the programme - they're "snowflakes, lefties, sympathisers", etc etc

they are the programme, they are not the dissenters

London is a city with about the population of Uruguay and Norway combined, but in an area too small for that many people.
They aren't all immigrants, there isn't a decent infrastructure for the population.

The entire population of Oban would fit into a few streets in Walthamstow and wouldn't even be noticed.

police don't stop crime, it is their job to punish it that's all

that's simply how it is in a free society

in a free society a certain amount of crime can be tolerated, even not worried about
but it is the nature of that crime that is` important, it is increasingly viscous and barbaric and dangerous , that is down to the type of people within the society
because a free society is at the mercy of those within that society to be at least fairly human

I've read reports that budgets cuts relate to c4000 officers.

Its called anarchy

That wasn't the question FACTs.

You've read that Khan predicts 4,000 fewer officers.

I asked how many had been cut.

If Khan wasn't so keen on turning London roads into bicycle tracks, he'd have more money to spend on the police force.

We also have second and third generation Muslims trying to kill us. Nothing to do with immigration? I'd say it shows us that some people will never integrate and that immigration has damaged the country.

The notion that more police = less crime is flawed.

The main reason crime doesn't occur is people choosing not to. People respect each other, our town, city and country.

I could go to the kitchen, take a knife and stab someone on the street and no amount of Plod would stop that.

Immigration is a key factor. I don't care if it's 2nd, 3rd or 4th generation immigrants. VERY few integrate. The ones that do leave behind former cultures. Retain the culture and they retain the problems asociated with that culture.

That's why I bang on about Jamaica's murder epidemic and Africa's poverty. Bring these people here and you bring poverty and murder.

Bring the Chinese here and you get great food and hard workers, but don't expect them to love cricket or scones.

As New York proved you need get tough policies, if you dont start at low level crime then it will have a knock on affect. Our police dont even turn up for robberies, what signal does that send out ?

Murder fee zone up here and can't remember the last crime committed in my village.
We have very few immigrants up the West Coast. Not sure if that's a factor.

combine drugs with the  mental health of people in London and that's a recipe for disaster

Its advantageous to a criminal to say he has a drug dependency,
they all are told to say it, softer sentences

there are imigrants elsewhere in the uk, but not the same murder rate
at the moment, as in london

making drugs illegal fuels crime, education and control as with more harmful cigarettes and alcohol
is surely the way forward

cigarettes and alcohol do more good than harm for the mind, well at least if the person is relatively sane
drugs can destroy a sane mind and every other type of mind as well, its a very different thing
